Hi everyone,

Like usual I'm well overdue to update, lol! Old habits I tell you and a Merry-Go-Round that just never slows down!!!
For those of you who love to visit the blog for Remember When Paper Company, I have fantastic news!!! Lee has shifted out blog from wordpress over to blogspot and it is now up for you to pop on over to visit. I will be blogging as usual each alternate Tuesday (my Tuesday today) and I do hope you will pop on over and visit frequently to check out what the other design team ladies are up to as well. For those of you who are not familiar with Remember When, let me give you a run down. Lee owns the company and sells a fantastic range of RW Lasercuts which are the best thing since sliced bread! Being Australias largest stockist of the complete range of Bazill cardstock is another reason to visit the website to pickup whatever supplies you need for your papercrafting needs. Other supplies are also available and a great gallery of ideas there for you to browse through.I am particularly in love with the Bazill Swiss Dots range at the moment and love the new embossed range of cardstock as well.

I have put together this little card for todays post over at the blog, so why not pop on over and check it out to find out just how you can make this little card up yourself. It is fun and super easy, and you will just loove giving this one a go!

Bookmark the website and the blog in your favourites...

Great news from Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all well and scrapping and stamping up a storm out there!
I have been on go as usual and creating some new cards and projects to use for my upcoming workshops. Alongside the cards, I love it when I can find time to scrap a new layout or two of my family and friends. The trouble is with time getting away from me and life being so busy all the time, my scrapbooking time has dwindled somewhat...
This motnh though I have decided to get back into it after being inspired by Stampin' Up! with their new May Promotion. The focus this month is Scrapbooking, and how up my alley was that!
I am really quite excited as far as the promotion goes, for not one but TWO reasons.
There are two parts to the May promotion and both are going to save you money!!!

OFFER #1 :
Purchase 3 packs of Designer Scrapbooking Paper and receive a 4th pack absolutely FREE! Not bad hey! Choose from any of the 14 packs of patterend paper featured in the 2009/2010 catalogue and Ideas Book and you will be all set to scrap up a storm!

To help you select your colours for your cardstock for your layouts, a list of the colours used in each designer packis listed in small print above each pack. This is very helpful, as it saves you time and takes out the guesswork when trying to match up and select cardstock!

OFFER #2:
If you’ve been thinking that you’d like to try Stampin’ Up! to earn a little extra cash then now is the perfect time to join. You can choose to purchase the full Starter kit at just $324 or for the month of May you can join for just $150 by purchasing the Scrapbooking Starter Kit.
The Scrapbooking Starter Kit includes ….

112231 Schoolbook Serif Alphabet stamp set* $77.95
113059 Simply Scrappin’ Petal Party $36.95
108697 Earth Elements Assorted textured card stock (12″ x 12″) $21.95
105216 Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin’ Pad $11.95

You will also receive all the business tools you need to start with order forms, catalogues, dvd, sample sheets and so much more - you will also then receive a montly newsletter from Stampin Up highlighting techniques, tips and more samples! This along with being part of my talented team, so you’ll also get my team newsletters and access to a great team forum for even more help and inspiration - not to mention the demonstrator discount and all the rewards you can earn along the way.

One of the things that drew me to Stampin’ Up is that there is no pressure to perform or to do demonstrations and such - its all up to you just how much or how little you do. Its up to you if you want to be a hobby demonstrator and purchase products at a discount for you and your friends or if you want to do this as a business - you can also swap between the two at any time - its all up to you!

So if you’d like more information or maybe you have some questions regarding the cards I’ve shared today or about becoming a demonstrator then please email or ring me when its convenient for you.

So.... how about those super offers for this month! If you would like to discuss joining up, placing an order or to enquire about booking in a demo or catalogue demo with me, then feel free to drop me a line tikkledpink@optusnet.com.au and I will be happy to help out.

Bye bye April!!!

Sickening isn't it... really! Just when you think that a new month has begun and you have a whole pile of things you wish to accomplish... walla! The month passes and half the things on that list are still not crossed off...*sigh*... Sound familiar???

I have found that what seemed to be holding me back the most (well apart from procrastination!) was the clutter in my scrapping area. Its not a bad size little area that I have, so I really can't complain, but lately I've been crowding myself into the corner and burying myself under everything I have to do lol! Well I decided at some ungodly hour the other morning, that I needed something which was under that other thing around the corner and below the two things I had been looking for last week!!!! SO, with one thing leading to another, before I knew it I had pulled apart a tonne of stuff and started to re-arrange my units, cupboards and whatever else was standing still at the time ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!
I will ask that someone PLEEEEEEEZ knock me over the head with a lump of 3x2 next time I decide to do something soooo ridiculous at 3am in the morning! Its taken me a few days now, but overall I am really pleased. Not only can I see my desk again, but now I can move around the floor, get to my cupboards without having to shift a dozen things in front of the doors, and things are in more user friendly places within my reach from my chair. I just looooove it! Its still got a little to go yet, but that will happen tomorrow when I finish putting the last of my things away, and sorting out a few drawers that need tending to.

Meanwhile, school holidays have been happening here after the Easter break and I've been quite busy with my boys. Not much scrapping, stamping or cardmkaing has been going on unfortunatley, but I did manage to get a few things done over Easter which I will post photos of when I download them onto my computer. I have some great photos coming back from the store tomorrow and look forward to getting some serious scrapping done...

STAMP-A-STACK WORKSHOP:
I will be holding my next Stamp-a-Stack workshop at the end of this week and still have a few seats available if you are in my area and would like to come along. The cost will be just $20, and we will be making 10 cards in total (2 styles, 5 of each card). I will be doing my catalogue launch as well, with an introduction to some fantastic new products that are featured in the new Catalogue and Ideas Book. Please email me tikkledpink@optusnet.com.au if you would like any further information about the workshop or kit to purchase from this workshop. You wil love what we are making and there are some little surprises in store on the night as well!

Okay...Time now though for this little camper to head off to get some sleep! Now that I have found my desk again, I will be busy creating over the next couple of days, and back soon with some new and wonderful things to share with you all.

Take care and Happy stamping!

HOSTESS FREEBIES!!!!!!!!

Let me share....As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I often feel very lucky to be able to go back to my past hostesses homes to continue to show and demo the wonderful goodies that come along in our catalogues. Apart from the fun I have, I am so happy to have made so many wonderful friendships amongst my customers, and at the same time just love what I am doing for my job. I almost feel guilty getting paid to have so much fun!!!

Anyway, one of my now good friends Joan, asked me to come along to do another demonstration for her lovely group of ladies, and of course I was only too happy to get out and have another great night stamping! I thought this time around seeing as that some ladies were not only stampers, but also scrappers, one of the things I would demo, was how to create a quick embellishment for a page, that not only looked really cool, but did not cost the earth!

See what you think...

The embellishment that I have made here for JOAN could be used for a title on a 12x12 layout, or even a feature on a 6x6 page.

Here I have used a chipboard circle frame for the O, and once Joan's photo is mounted at the back of the frame, this will complete the look I had desired.
I have used some of our chunky blue glitter around the frame and in real life this looks terrific ~ bling is in!
The J is a chipboard letter that I have inked in Rose Red, and coated in Crystal effects to give a real glossy shine. The A and N I have stamped in Wild Wasabi (one colour I will really miss now that it has retired), and Only Orange. Before cutting out the A and N, I also coated both letters with Crystal Effects, and once dry carefully cut out each letter, leaving a small frame of the white cardstock around the outer edge.I have used the circle scallop punch and inked around the edges of the punched shapes to give a defined look to the punched scallops, and then glued all letters onto each one. I inked the O circle frame in Blue Bayou (also from this years In colours), and covered with Crystal Effects to give the shine (I do love this stuff, it is awesome!). While still tacky, I placed the scallops in place onto the frame, and then sprinkled the remaining visible part of the circle frame with some Blue Chunky Glitter. Walla!!!! Once dry this piece looked great! (Hard to see properly in th photo how the Crystal Effect really emphasized the vibrant colours, and gave such a wonderul glossy finish, but take my word for it, it looked terriffic.) All it needed next was a photo of Joan's face added behind the O, and it was ready to pop onto her scrapbook page!

Easy and effective little things like this one, are just one of the benefits you receive as a hostess at your own demonstration. What I make in the demo, as a hostess you get to keep.
You also will receive the most fantastic and very generous hostess gifts once sales reach $300 (easy peasy!) Tust me, the freebies are awesome! :)

With the brand New 2009/2010 catalogue and Ideas book about set to launch, there has not been a better time to book in your demo. As a hostess you will also receive your very own copy of the book for FREE (worth $12.95) and at your demo sit back for an afternoon or evening full of stamping fun!
I still have a few dates available for April and now booking into May for demonstrations, so if you are interested in seeing more and collecting your free products, just email me tikkledpink@optusnet.com.au and I will be happy to arrange this for you. Don't stress if you haven't the time for an in house demo, or if you don't live near me! You can still opt for holding a catalogue demo, in which you will receive the same wonderful Hostess Benefits, so there is an option for everyone.

To celebrate the launch of the new catalogue, during the month of April should you wish to join my team, you will receive from me to you, my wonderful "Welcome to my team Gift" ~
An awesome Scrapping Tote bag valued at $49.95 to hold all your new Stampin' Up! kit items in! This is a strictly limited offer from me, so contact me today to find out more!

If you wish to be in with the rest of us and order your very own copy of the 2009 /2010 Catalogue and Ideas book, let me know so I can reserve you a copy for when they arrive. Not long now, the countdown is on, and I assure you that the wait will be worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok time for me to go, until next time
Happy stampin' and scrappin'...
